You can find it by entering “101 Sullivan Dr., Putney, Vermont” into the computer map site of your choice. Click here for Google Maps.
However, we are in a cell signal “dead zone,” so you won’t be able to use your GPS for the last part of the trip. To ensure an easy trip, check out the detailed directions below in advance.
From the south via I-91: Take exit 4 for Putney. Turn left at the bottom of the ramp. Pass over the highway, then shortly bear right onto Main St./Route 5 North. Go about 1/3 mile on Main Street and look for a left hand turn where the Putney General Store is on the right. This left turn is the Westminster West Road, but there is no sign. Set your odometer here. Our drive is 10.4 miles beyond this intersection. As you approach this mileage, look for Bemis Hill Road on the left. DO NOT TURN onto this road but look for a driveway about 30 yards farther along on the right: this is our driveway. At the turn there is a blue and orange sign that says Lisa G Nash, DC. Take the left fork in the driveway. At the fork in the drive, follow the blue-and-orange sign that says “Lisa G. Nash, D.C.” to the left.
From the north via I-91: Take exit 6 for Bellows Falls. Turn left at the bottom of the ramp onto 103 North. Go about 1 mile on this road, looking for a town garage on your right. Just beyond the garage is a left hand turn with a sign saying “Rockingham Hill Road.” Take this left.
Very shortly you will come to another left–take it! Otherwise you will end up at a different intersection with Route 103. This road quickly becomes dirt and climbs sharply uphill. Continue until it returns to pavement and comes to an end at the Main Street of the village of Saxtons River. Turn right onto Main Street.
In about 2 blocks you will see a traffic triangle with a large church behind it. As you look to the left, you’ll see a green iron bridge. Turn left and go over the bridge, setting your odometer as you go. Our driveway is 2.4 miles from this intersection. At the turn there is a blue and orange sign that says Lisa G Nash, DC. If you come to Bemis Hill Road on your right, you’ve just missed it. Take the left fork in the driveway. At the fork in the drive, follow the blue-and-orange sign that says “Lisa G. Nash, D.C.” to the left.
The office is located on the bottom floor of the building that appears to have a silo on its front (the building in the photo on this page). Please come on in to the entry way, take off your shoes (if you can do so comfortably) and come into the waiting room. I look forward to seeing you!
